Welcome to this month's Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop The theme for this month is #simplestamping Simple stamping is where you have a stamp set, ink pad and some card stock. So for this blog I chose the Forever Fern stamp set, the NEW In Color Just Jade, both ink pad and card stock, and Whisper White card stock. First I made a 10cm x 10cm card base using the Whisper White card stock. Then I cut a 9.5cm x 9.5cm mat layer using Just Jade card stock. Next I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock...
Stampin Dreams June 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Stampin Dreams Blog Hop The theme this month is favourite Designer Series Paper This month I had no questions over what DSP I was going to use. I received my order last week and as soon as I saw the Whale of Time DSP I just wanted to use four of the papers to make a 12x12 layout. So that is just what I did. I used the four scenery papers and slightly cut them down to fit onto a sheet of 12x12 Night of Navy card stock so there was boarder around each piece. These I then...
Scrapbooking Global June 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Scrapbooking Global blog hop As you can see the theme for this month is Brand New and what better topic to fit in with the release of the NEW 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalogue. For my layout this month I fell in love with the Zany Zebras stamp set and whilst sorting through some photos to scrap with I found one of my children with models of Zebras. I wanted a leafy effect to my layout so I chose to use the lovely Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. I used one for the...
Kre8tors June 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Blog Hop This month's theme is Masculine Following on from my Kre8tors Vlog last week I am continuing the theme by using the same designer series paper from Flowers for Every Season DSP to make my Father's Day cards. I decided to use a technique that Bruno Bertucci introduced and is a great way to make scraps of designer series paper go further by cutting them into strips. I decided to stick the scraps onto a Basic Black card layer before sticking onto a Whisper White...
Colour Combo June 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Colour Combo June Blog Hop The three colours we have been given this month are Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Sea Foam. I decided to use the NEW Jar of Flowers stamp set to make two cards for this blog hop. I used Gray Granite ink pad to stamp two sets of flowers onto Whisper White card stock and stamped the jar using Soft Sea Foam ink pad. To colour in the flowers I used a mix of blends and ink from the matching ink pads. Next I punched out the jar using...
Stamp ‘N Hop June 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to the Stamp 'n Hop June Blog Hop. The theme this month is Hello to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. I love this month as it is the month that Stampin' Up! release their new Annual Catalogue and it is packed with lovely stamp sets, punches, suites and of course the NEW 5 In Colors for 2020. For my project this month I thought I would do a scrapbook layout using some of the new designer series papers from the catalogue. A few years ago my husband and I went on holiday to Cornwall and...
Stamptastic Friends May 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this Month's Blog Hop with Stamptastic Friends. Our theme this month is Masculine Makes. Earlier this year my husband decided to go sea fishing with his dad and brother in May. So when I saw the theme for this month's blog hop I knew that I wanted to make a project using products from the Come Sail Away Suite. This week I was lucky to receive an email from my lovely friend Linda Gransby who owns Memories and Photos with a tutorial to make a cute accordion mini book. I chose the Come...
Colour Combo May 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Colour Combo Blog Hop. The colours this month are Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and Gorgeous Grape. When I saw these colours I immediately thought of flowers as most of the colours in my garden are purple. With this in mind I decided to use one of our retiring stamp sets this month and chose the Vibrant Vases stamp set. I started by stamping the vases and flower outlines using Crumb Cake ink pads. Next I stamped one set of flowers in Gorgeous Grape ink and the other in...
Stamp ‘N Hop May 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Stamp 'N Hop The theme this month is Saying Goodbye to our 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. One of my favourite products that was in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue was the Country Floral 3D embossing folder. It was first introduced as a Sale-a-bration product which then went into the Annual Catalogue. The reason why it is a favourite is that you can dry emboss with it and either leave it as it is or rub White Craft Ink over it to highlight the raised areas. Card 1 I made...
Ink & Share April 2020 Blog Hop
Welcome to this month's Ink & Share Blog Hop This month's theme is New Beginnings or Spring I was struggling with this month's theme and whilst looking through some photographs I found three from when my husband changed our back garden from grass and flowerbeds to paving and raised flower beds. I remember taking these photographs just after he had started extending the decking and of course our two dogs just had to give him a paw or two. First I mounted the photographs onto Basic Black...
