Stamp N Hop May 2019 Blog Hop

Welcome to this Month's Stamp 'N Hop. Welcome. As you can see the theme this month is Goodbye to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. I hope you have enjoyed seeing what Sharon has come up with as her Goodbye project or you might have joined this blog hop with me so you are in for some lovely projects. Sometimes saying Goodbye to an annual catalogue can be a sad time as you can find that your favourite stamp set is being retired. This time it was different for me. The Sheltering Tree stamp set is...

Colour Combo May 2019 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Colour Combo Blog Swap As you can see this month's colours are Balmy Blue, Mango Melody and Blackberry Bliss. For my card I chose to use one of my favourite stamp sets -Peaceful Reflections and the lovely Gingham Gala DSP. As you can see I have stuck a strip of Balmy Blue Gingham Gala DSP down one side. Then I used Blackberry Bliss ink to make the flower shapes. Some were stamped off before stamping onto the Whisper White card stock. Next I stamped the Mango Melody...

Scrapbooking Global April 2019 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. As you can see from the above image the theme this month is Flowers or Spring which has been set by our Guest Designer: Mariejosee Gagnon. For my scrapbook layout I decided to use up some of my wedding photos that contained flowers. I started by cutting the word Flowers out of the photos of my wedding bouquet using the Large Alphabet dies which are on the retiring list. I then stuck them onto a piece of 12x12 Blushing Bride card stock which...

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop – April 2019

Welcome to the April Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. As you can see this month's theme is masculine which is a bit harder for me to do as my husband does not like his photo being taken. I managed to get this photo of my husband when the local paper were doing a feature on the Estate Agents he is a director of. For my layout I do not often have masculine papers or stamp sets so I was limited in what I had in my stash. I found some strips of the Wood Textures designer series paper which were...

SF April 2019 Happy Mother’s Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the SF 2019 April Blog Hop. This month's theme is Mother's Day. The UK had their Mother's Day back in March and the rest of the world will be celebrating it in May. In the UK Mothering Sunday is always the fourth Sunday of Lent. It is a day where children give their mother's presents, flowers and a hand made card. Here is what I have made - a covered notebook and card. I started by looking for some ideas on Pinterest and came across a layout where there were three strips of embossed...

Ink & Share Scrapbook – All about Me

This month's theme is All About Me. Sometimes we forget to scrapbook photos or mementos for us.  In the future, generations will not know what we did, liked etc unless we do scrapbook pages about ourselves. One of my favourite times was when I was a stay at home mum and I used to rehab hedgehogs in my dining room.  It got to the stage where the hedgehogs were lining up at my back door to be fed or brought in to be looked after. I would often get hedgehogs brought to me by...
