Welcome to Friend of SUBA Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Father’s Day/Male.

We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator friends that have met through attending fantastic Simply Unique Business Angels courses, run by Louise Sims and Pip Todman, to help with the technology side of our business.  They are highly recommended by all of us.  You can find out more here.

I was given the Woven Heirloom stamp set as my Prize Patrol at the recent Stampin’ Up! On Stage event and my initial response was that I would never use this stamp set. So having used it for a previous blog hop I decided to have another go at making a Male card using neutral colours.

Whilst searching for ideas I saw a similar card on PInterest so decided to CASE it. I started off withg a Sahara Sand card base and using the Rectangle stitched dies cut out a rectangle which I then stamped using the Crackle stamp and Crumb Cake ink pad.

I then die cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and embossed it using the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This I then stuck down onto the White layer and tied some Linen Thread around it.

Next I stamped a sentiment using Crumb Cake ink onto White card stock. This was then die cut using the circle stitched dies and stuck to a similar die cut circle using vellum. Both circles were stuck onto the base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog today and seeing the card that I made. Please do leave comments as you hop around onto the other demos.

Happy stampin’g n crafting,

Cheryl
