Welcome to the Blog
For ideas, inspiration and tutorialsColour Combo March 2019 BH
Welcome to this month's Colour Combo Blog Hop. This month's three colours are Shaded Spruce, Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo. The stamp sets I have used for my card are Buffalo Check and In Every Season. I decided to use the Buffalo Check background stamp to stamp onto a layer of Whisper White. I like how it has some uninked areas. Then I stamped three of the flower stamps onto Whisper White card stock and die cut them out using one of the Layering Square framelits. I...
Kre8tors BH – Bye Bye SAB
Welcome to the March Kre8tors Blog Hop. This is a sad time of year as we say good bye to our Sale-A-Bration promotion. This year we have had some lovely products. Some so lovely that they have sold out and more have had to be ordered in to fulfil orders. One of the SAB products I have decided to use today is the Lovely Lattice stamp set. For this card I decided to keep it simple. I made a Whisper White card base then used the Crackle Paint background stamp to...
Stamp N Hop – Easter
Welcome to this month's Stamp N Hop blog hop. This month the theme is Easter. When deciding what card and Stampin' Up! products to use for Easter, I decided to use the little ducklings from the Fable Friends stamp set. Every year we have lots of ducks hatching baby ducklings and when I look out of the window I can see them all running in a straight line after their mum. It has been know to have a family of ducks at my front door. During the month of March I am trying to do...
Ink & Share February 2019 Blog Hop
Welcome to today's blog hop. Today it is the Ink & Share Blog Hop. This month's theme is New Papers. One of the Sale-a-bration FREE products is the Botanical Butterfly DSP. I love these papers so had to make a number of layouts using it. Here is the layout I have completed for this blog. For this layout I also used the Beauty Abounds bundle to add extra butterflies and sentiments. I used the dies to make a decorative black edge around the papers. For the ribbon element I...
Scrapbooking Global February 2019
Welcome to this month's Scrapbook Global Blog Hop. This month's theme is Love & Marriage. For my layout this month I decided to try something different with a 12"x 12" piece of Designer Series Paper. I cut one sheet of Petal Promenade DSP into 1" strips. These I interwove to get a woven effect as my background which I then stuck onto a 12" x 12" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then chose 2 wedding photos and stuck them both onto Mossy Meadow and Fresh Fig card stock. These...

Stampin Dreams February 2019 Blog Hop
Welcome to February's Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. The theme this month is Birthday. I have chosen a card that I CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from another demo for my daughter's 27th birthday. As soon as I saw the card on Facebook I know my daughter would love it as she is a big fan of Beauty and the Beast. I would therefore like to thank UK demo Jane Allmark for coming up with the original idea and letting me CASE it. For this card I decided to use Highland Heather card stock and...
Colour Combo February 2019
Welcome to Colour Combo's February Blog Hop. Each month we are given 3 colours to use in our project together with Black and Whisper White. This month's colours are Poppy Parade, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sea Foam. For my card I decided to use the Varied Vases punch and the new stamp set that goes with it Vibrant Vases. First I stamped the vase onto Whisper White card stock and then the flowers were stamped, both using Black memento ink. Using Poppy Parade I stamped the flower...
Kre8tors February Blog Hop
Welcome to the Kre8tors February Blog Hop. I live in a lovely village in Cambridgeshire and today the weather is cold, wet and windy as we are experiencing Storm Eric. So on days like this it is best to stay indoors and craft. The theme this month is Valentines/Love. Whilst I was looking on line I came across a card with envelopes on the front, with each envelope holding a message inside. So I decided to make a variation of this card and to use some of our products from the Annual...
