Welcome to the Blog
For ideas, inspiration and tutorialsSF April 2019 Happy Mother’s Day Blog Hop
Welcome to the SF 2019 April Blog Hop. This month's theme is Mother's Day. The UK had their Mother's Day back in March and the rest of the world will be celebrating it in May. In the UK Mothering Sunday is always the fourth Sunday of Lent. It is a day where children give their mother's presents, flowers and a hand made card. Here is what I have made - a covered notebook and card. I started by looking for some ideas on Pinterest and came across a layout where there were three strips of embossed...

Welcome to April's Kre8tors Blog Hop. This months theme is Spring with a colour combo twist. We have been given the following image and these lovely colours. For this blog I decided to use a stamp set I was very keen on but decided to use it to challenge me plus I had the lovely mini punches to match. The stamp set is Bloom by Bloom and I decided to produce a card that any beginner could make using minimal products. Here is the card I came up with. I love the colours that we could use for this...

Ink & Share Scrapbook – All about Me
This month's theme is All About Me. Sometimes we forget to scrapbook photos or mementos for us. In the future, generations will not know what we did, liked etc unless we do scrapbook pages about ourselves. One of my favourite times was when I was a stay at home mum and I used to rehab hedgehogs in my dining room. It got to the stage where the hedgehogs were lining up at my back door to be fed or brought in to be looked after. I would often get hedgehogs brought to me by...

Welcome to this month's Colour Combo Blog Hop. This month's three colours are Shaded Spruce, Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo. The stamp sets I have used for my card are Buffalo Check and In Every Season. I decided to use the Buffalo Check background stamp to stamp onto a layer of Whisper White. I like how it has some uninked areas. Then I stamped three of the flower stamps onto Whisper White card stock and die cut them out using one of the Layering Square framelits. I...
Kre8tors BH – Bye Bye SAB
Welcome to the March Kre8tors Blog Hop. This is a sad time of year as we say good bye to our Sale-A-Bration promotion. This year we have had some lovely products. Some so lovely that they have sold out and more have had to be ordered in to fulfil orders. One of the SAB products I have decided to use today is the Lovely Lattice stamp set. For this card I decided to keep it simple. I made a Whisper White card base then used the Crackle Paint background stamp to...
Stamp N Hop – Easter
Welcome to this month's Stamp N Hop blog hop. This month the theme is Easter. When deciding what card and Stampin' Up! products to use for Easter, I decided to use the little ducklings from the Fable Friends stamp set. Every year we have lots of ducks hatching baby ducklings and when I look out of the window I can see them all running in a straight line after their mum. It has been know to have a family of ducks at my front door. During the month of March I am trying to do...
Ink & Share February 2019 Blog Hop
Welcome to today's blog hop. Today it is the Ink & Share Blog Hop. This month's theme is New Papers. One of the Sale-a-bration FREE products is the Botanical Butterfly DSP. I love these papers so had to make a number of layouts using it. Here is the layout I have completed for this blog. For this layout I also used the Beauty Abounds bundle to add extra butterflies and sentiments. I used the dies to make a decorative black edge around the papers. For the ribbon element I...
Scrapbooking Global February 2019
Welcome to this month's Scrapbook Global Blog Hop. This month's theme is Love & Marriage. For my layout this month I decided to try something different with a 12"x 12" piece of Designer Series Paper. I cut one sheet of Petal Promenade DSP into 1" strips. These I interwove to get a woven effect as my background which I then stuck onto a 12" x 12" piece of Very Vanilla card stock. I then chose 2 wedding photos and stuck them both onto Mossy Meadow and Fresh Fig card stock. These...
