Stamp ‘N Hop March 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome this this month's Stamp 'N Hop blog hop. The theme for this month is Girls/Boys. When I think of younger girls and boys cards I always think of Peter Rabbit or Bunnykins which are popular in the UK. Peter Rabbit was introduced by Beatrix Potter and Bunnykins by Royal Doulton pottery. Luckily we have a wonderful stamp set that fits both of these and that is the Fable Friends stamp set. I was shown this card last year by Michelle Bryant, another demo, who did this as her card swap at one...

Kre8tors March 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Blog Hop The Theme for this month's blog is a Colour Challenge based on the colour GREEN. When I saw this month's theme I immediately thought of leaves and jungle. So the first stamp sets I went for were Tropical Chic and Animal Outing. I started with a Mint Macaron mat layer and die cut a rectangle out to make a frame. Then I stamped the image of the Rhino onto Whisper White card stock using Memento Ink Pad. I used the Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green...

Colour Combo March 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Blog Hop I cannot believe that we are already in March and what better colours to have this month than Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Blushing Bride. These three colours remind me of the spring flowers that are just coming into flower - Daffodils and tree blossom. Card Project I started my card by looking to see what stamp set I could use and how I could make a card without having a cutting machine. I chose the Floral Essence stamp set and Perennial Flower punch as...

Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop February 2020

Welcome to this month's Ink & Share Blog Hop The Theme for this month is LOVE When I hear the words LOVE I tend to think of hubby and family but LOVE can be for anything you enjoy and get a warm feeling from. So for this month's theme I decided to do a layout around cream teas which I love especially if it is a Gluten Free one. I have a few photos of cream teas that I had had either with hubby or friends so decided to use those. This enabled me to use the stamp set Tea Together and...

Stampin Friends February 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Stampin Friends Blog Hop. The theme for this month is Favourites. This is an easy one for me as I love anything with Butterflies on and we have a few stamp sets and dies which fit this category. I decided to go for the Butterfly Beauty dies as you can die cut so many different butterflies. My Project I have been working with Sandra Roberts (my upline) on a Techniques Folder so that I can remember the different techniques and refer back if I get stuck. I love working...

Scrapbooking Global February 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop where I am joining various Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world. The theme this month is a Sketch Challenge. Which is where you have a sketch and you can use any Stampin' Up! products to make a scrapbook layout. This month's sketch I wanted to make a layout where you did not have to spend lots of money on stamp sets or cutting dies. So I went for the Come Sail Away designer series paper and Memories and More card pack. I started...

Colour Combo February 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's Colour Combo Blog Hop. This month's colours are Merry Merlot, Pineapple Punch and Pool Party. I wanted to use the Honey Bee stamp set from the January - June 2020 Mini Catalogue for this month's card. I started by stamping the bee hive in Merry Merlot ink and placed a mask over the stamped image so that I could sponge the background with Pool Party and Pineapple Punch. Then I stamped the smaller bee onto Whisper White and coloured in the striped using an aqua painter...

Ink & Share Scrapbook January 2020 Blog Hop

Welcome to this months Ink & Share Blog Hop. This month's theme is up to us to choose. As I am doing my family history I have a couple of photographs that were of my Granddad during his service in the Second World War. Stampin' Up! has the Painted Poppy Suite which is so versatile and I just had to use it for these photographs. I started by using the larger outline poppy stamp to make a border along the bottom. I then used the larger background stamp to stamp around the 12x12 card stock....
