Welcome to this month’s Stampin Dreams Blog Hop

This month we are showing you a sneek peek at the NEW Autumn/Winter catalogue. If you have not received your copy yet please let me or your own SU Demo know.

For my sneek peek I have chosen to use the Still Night bundle. As some of you know my upline demo’s team are called OWLS (Obsessed with Lovely Stamps) so this bundle is so appropriate for us.

Here are the two cards I designed.

CARD 1

For this card I wanted to try to give a moon lit night feel. This is the first time I have tried to do this and it turned out very well. First I sponged Night of Navy onto the card base and around a circle mask. Then I stamped the branch using Early Espresso and added some sparkle with Dazzling Diamonds glitter to make the branches frosted. Finally I stamped the owl in memento and coloured the owl in using Water Colour pencils and a blender pen.

CARD 2

For this card I wanted to try the sunset technique again another technique I have not done before. I sponged the inks onto the card stock. The dies were cut out using Basic Black card stock and stuck onto the card base using fine tip glue.
