Welcome to February’s Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop.
The theme this month is Birthday.
I have chosen a card that I CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from another demo for my daughter’s 27th birthday. As soon as I saw the card on Facebook I know my daughter would love it as she is a big fan of Beauty and the Beast. I would therefore like to thank UK demo Jane Allmark for coming up with the original idea and letting me CASE it.
For this card I decided to use Highland Heather card stock and the matching Highland Heather Gala designer series paper as the mat layers for this card.
I then stamped the cup and teapot from Tea Together stamp set and die cut them out using the Tea Time Framelits dies. These dies are available FREE* with a purchase order of £90.00.
I cut off the saucer from the cup before I added the faces and chip in the cup. I then coloured them in using Stampin’ Up! Markers. I coloured the background colour for the cup and teapot using the Basic Gray watercolour pencil and an aqua marker.
Once the cup and teapot were coloured in I stuck them to the mat layers using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My daughter loved her birthday card as she loved Beauty and the Beast.
I hope you have loved my birthday card and that it has given you an idea for a future card.
Please do leave comments as you hop around everyone.
*Tea Time Framelits Dies available FREE during Sale-a-bration period or whilst stocks last. Sale-a-bration period is 3 January 2019 to 31 March 2019
