How to Make a Simple Meant To Bee Scrapbook Layout to record your loved ones memories.

I decided to make this simple meant to bee scrapbook layout as I was recently reminded that it is a good idea to make a Memory Album or Scrapbook Album for loved ones so that if they have Alzheimer’s you still have something to talk about with them.

How I made my simple Meant To Bee Scrapbook Layout

First I took a 12×12 piece of White Willow card stock and drew a circle in the middle using a plate and a pencil. I then stamped the flowers from the Meant To Bee stamp set around the circle using Melon Mambo ink. Next I stamped the leaves around the stamped flowers using Garden Green ink.

Next I die cut out 3 hexagons using the Meant to Bee dies using Basic Black card stock for my photographs and a smaller one for my title. I then die cut out a Basic White card stock hexagon using another smaller hexagon and stamped the words’ we are meant to bee’ for my title before sticking it to the smaller Basic Black card stock hexagon. I then arranged them on the bottom half of the simple Meant to Bee scrapbook layout with the title in the bottom middle.

How I made the bees for my simple Meant to Bee Scrapbook Layout

First I stamped both of the bee bodies onto Daffodil Delight card stock using Black Memento ink and punched each one out using the matching punch. Next I stamped the faces onto each one again using Black Memento ink.

For the wings I chose Pool Party Two Tone card stock and punched out the wings again using the matching punch. I decided to use both the Light and Dark sides of the Pool Party Two Tone card stock to give a contrast in the wings. Next I die cut out the antenna for each bee using Basic Black card stock. I then added the wings and antenna to each bee using Multi-purpose glue.

Finally I arranged the stamped bees around the stamped circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals keep 3 for the Title hexagon.
