Welcome to this month’s Scrapbooking Global blog hop

As you can see the theme for this month is Brand New and what better topic to fit in with the release of the NEW 2020 – 2021 Annual Catalogue.

For my layout this month I fell in love with the Zany Zebras stamp set and whilst sorting through some photos to scrap with I found one of my children with models of Zebras.

I wanted a leafy effect to my layout so I chose to use the lovely Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. I used one for the overall back ground and another one I cut into two strips.

Then I mounted the photo onto Just Jade card stock and stuck it onto the layout.

The next step was to stamp the zebras onto Whisper White card stock using Black Memento ink and then fussy cut them out before sticking them onto the layout with Stampin Dimensionals.

I then stuck two pieces of Whisper White onto Just Jade card stock to make a journalling block and a title block.

Next using the Just Jade card stock I die cut some leaves from the Forever Flourishing dies and the title Zebras from the Hand Lettered Prose dies. Unfortunately these letter dies are now retired but Stampin’ Up! do have brand new letter dies which are on my next order.

Finally I stuck the title and leaves onto the layout using Tombow and finished off by stamping some stars onto the title and journalling card.
