Welcome to this month’s blog hop. As you can see the theme this month is Back to School. Here in the UK we are half way through our School Summer Holidays.
As both my children are adults and finished their education and my granddaughter is not old enough to go to school, I have made a layout that I can use in the future.
I wanted to use the lovely bright 2018-2020 Incolors as they remind me of the primary colours I used at school. Also I wanted to use the It Starts with Art stamp set and the matching Arts & Craft dies.
I started off by using some scraps of Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick card stock and stamped the words ‘back to school’. Then I drew lines onto a piece of Whisper White card stock to make it look like a piece of writing paper. I will be journaling on this later. By using the Smoky Slate Stampin’ marker I write out the alphabet.
Next I cut a photo mount using Whisper White and Blueberry Bushel card stock. I placed all these pieces of card stock onto a piece of Smoky Slate 12×12 card stock and when I was happy with how it looked I stuck everything down.
I felt it need some more Blueberry Bushel card stock so by using some scraps I made an ‘abc’ and 123 cards using our Chalk marker.
To finish off the scrapbook page I stamped and die cut some pencils and clips and coloured them in. Then I die cut some paper clips to add a final touch.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my scrapbook layout and that it has given you some ideas to do yourself.
Please do leave comments as you hop around looking at all of our layouts.

Love love love all the cute paper clips and all the extra details. This is gorgeous.
So cute! In my mind this captures a school desk in use, perfectly.
Cheryl your page is very fun and just perfect with the It starts with art set. I love how you used the chalk marker and even created your own note book paper for journaling. Super cute! and you are ahead of things with your grand daughter, which is a rare scrapboooker trait! I think we are usually years behind!
Cheryl, What a fantastic idea to create an album for your grand daughter in advance.
Love those colour too <3 Thank you for joining in on the Blog Hop this month.
Cheers Shaz
