Welcome to this month’s Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. As you can see from the above image the theme this month is Flowers or Spring which has been set by our Guest Designer: Mariejosee Gagnon.
For my scrapbook layout I decided to use up some of my wedding photos that contained flowers.
I started by cutting the word Flowers out of the photos of my wedding bouquet using the Large Alphabet dies which are on the retiring list. I then stuck them onto a piece of 12×12 Blushing Bride card stock which I cut down to make a banner across the page.
Then I cut two photos of the chocolate flowers on my wedding cake and put them back together to make two black and white and colour photos. These were then mounted onto Grey Granite card stock. I am rather pleased with how they turned out. These I then stuck in two corners of a 12×12 Whisper White card stock.
Finally I finished off the page with some leaves punched from Garden Green card stock and the Leaf Punch, mounted a smaller picture of my bouquet onto Grey Granite card stock and added another piece of Grey Granite card stock so I can journal later.

I have never seen photos half&half like that, very clever. Great letters done with the DSP, very pretty.
Great idea to cut the letters from the DSP! they look fab!
What a cool idea to use items from your wedding to create this page and a nice memory too.
