Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog logo

Welcome to this month’s Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop

The theme this month is to make a scrapbook layout using your three favourite colours.

When I saw this month’s theme I knew the first colour I was going to use would be Melon Mambo as this is my number 1 favourite colour. Then I had to choose my next two favourite colours which are Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. Therefore this month’s scrapbook layout using my three favourite colours would consist of Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Melon Mambo.

How I made my Scrapbook Layout using Three Colours

Photo of finished Scrapbook Layout using my three Favourite Colours

I started by choosing a 12×12 piee of Basic White card stock. Next I chose an A4 piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock and stuck that in the middle of the layout. I then cut strips of Highland Heather and Basic White card stock and added them to the top and bottom of the layout.

As tulips are part of my logo I decided to use the Flowering Tulips stamp set and Tulip Dies. Plus I had not used them before. I chose to use the tulip border and die cut this out four times in Melon Mambo card stock and added them to the Basic White strips of card stock.

Next I cut out two photo mat layers using Highland Heather card stock and then two mat layers using Melon Mambo card stock. These will be used for journaling and to add the ‘Let Today Be The Start Of Something New’ sentiment which is very relevant as I have recently signed up again as an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.

How I finished off my Scrapbook Layout using Three Colours

To finish off the layout I cut mat layers using Basic White card stock and stamped the sentiment using Gorgeous Grape ink and added some Melon Mambo Glossy Dots.

My plan is to take some photos of my craft stall in September and add them to the layout.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my scrapbook layout made using my three favourite colours. Why not have a go at making your own scrapbook layout using your three favourite colours and please do share them on my Facebook page..

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
