Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop
The theme this month is: Favourite Colour

The theme for this month has been decided by the talented Delys Cram.

When I saw that this month’s theme was I knew straight away what my scrapbook layout using my favourite colour would be. Some of you may know that I like pinks and purples as they are used in my branding but my absolute favourite colour is Melon Mambo. I even have this colour polo tops for my craft stalls, classes and of course On Stage events. So I decided that I would make my scrapbook layout using photos of a group of fellow demos taken at On Stage. Our group started when we all attended some demo training with two UK Demos Louise Sims and Pip Todman in 2017/2018 and we called ourselves Stamptastic Friends. Each On Stage event we try to make swaps and have our photo taken.
How I made my Scrapbook Layout using my favourite colour

Of course I started with a 12×12 piece of Melon Mambo card stock. Next I cut two strips of Basic White 12×12 card stock to make a border along each side. I wanted to stamp an image and decided to use the small pansy image from the Pansy Patch stamp set. To make the different shading I first stamped the outline image in Melon Mambo ink. Next I stamped off the infill image to make a lighter tome of Melon Mambo before finally stamping the middle using Melon Mambo straight from the pad.

How I made the title for my Scrapbook Layout using my favourite colour
Using the Alphabest stamps set and Best Label punch I stamped out my title and stuck them onto the layout. Next I cut mat layers using Basic White card stock for my photos and stuck the photo onto them. I then stuck the photos and mat layers onto my scrapbook layout.
Finally I need to find out which On Stage event the photos were taken and write some journaling underneath each photo.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my scrapbook layout using my favourite colour. Why not have go at making a scrapbook layout just using your favourite colour?
