Welcome to the Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.

The theme this month is a Scrapbook Sketch Challenge.

Scrapbook Layout Sketch Challenge

I love designing a scrapbook layout using a Scrapbook Sketch Challenge so was thrilled to see that this month’s theme was one.

I decided that with Christmas being 3 months away that I would prepare a layout for my grandchildren.

How I made my Scrapbook Layout using a Sketch Challenge

Photo of finished Scrapbook Layout using a Sketch Challenge

I started with a piece of Basic Black 12×12 card stock. Next I cut a sheet from the Celebrating Everything designer series papers. I often miss these packs of designer series papers but this pack covers loads of occasions.

Next I cut a piece of Polished Pink card stock to mount three photographs on to. I then cut a piece of Basic White card stock to fit behind the Basic White card stock. I die cut the four circles out of Pool Party card stock using the Beautiful Shapes dies.

As the Trimming the Trees stamp set has matching dies this month I decided to die cut out some Christmas trees using these dies and Granny Apple Green card stock. I love how the dies give the effect of the branches.

Next I cut a strip of Crushed Curry card stock and added Black & White Gingham ribbon along it.

Finally I cut some tags using the Tailor Made Tags dies . The larger one was die cut using Shaded Spruce card stock and the smaller one using Basic White card stock. I will add the title to it and some journaling once I have some Christmas photos. To finish it off I added some White bakers twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my version of the scrapbook sketch challenge. Why not have a go yourself and share your layout on my Facebook page.

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
