Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop
The theme this month is:
The theme for this month has been decided by the talented Julia Quinn
When I saw this month’s Scrapbook Layout theme of Numbers I immediately thought of Queen Elizabeth II Jubilees. In the UK we have been celebrating our Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. This will be the fourth jubilee I have been able to celebrate and we will probably never see a diamond and platinum jubilee again.
Finished Scrapbook Layout – Queen Elizabeth II Jubilees
How I made the double page Scrapbook Layout
I started by marking out a line along each piece of Basic White 12×12 card stock. Then using the numbers from the Alphabest stamp set I stamp the numbers 25, 50, 60 and 70 onto the pages using Pacific Point and Real Red ink.
I then cut two strips of 12×12 Real Red card stock to go across the pages. Next I stamped the words Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilees in Pacific Point ink and punched them out using the Best Label punch.
I then cut two pieces of 3/8″ Denim ribbon to hang the letters from. I used glue dots to fix the letters to the ribbon before sticking onto the Real Red strips. Finally I stuck the Real Red strips onto the pages.

Next I mounted the photos from when the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh visited the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds onto Real Red card stock and stuck them onto the page. I then stuck a thin strip of Basic White card stock onto Pacific Point card stock and stuck under the photos. I will then add journaling to this.
Next I cut Basic White card stock and Pacific Point card stock to make a journaling block for the 1977 Silver Jubilee. I will add the photo of me doing country dancing at school to celebrate the Silver Jubilee. I need to find it first.

Next I cut a strip of Real Red card stock which I then stuck onto the top of the second page. I then added my scouting badges to it. Then I cut Basic White card stock and Pacific Point card stock to make a journaling block.
Finally I stamped out the years 1977, 2002, 2012 and 2022 in Real Red ink and stuck the punched out letters onto Pacific Point card stock.
To finish off the Scrapbook Layouts for Queen Elizabeth II Jubilees I need to find my photo from 1977 and add the print of Queen Elizabeth with Paddington on to it.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing how I have used numbers for my backgrounds and how they were used for the years. I was unsure about this stamp set and matching punch but I absolutely love it.
Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
