Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop
The theme this month is: Favourite Annual Catalogue Product

The theme for this month has been decided by the talented Sharon Dalton.

I wanted to make a quick and simple celebration scrapbook layout to show that you do not need too many products to make a scrapbook layout. One of the new products is the Two-Tone card stock in every one of the Stampin’ Up! colours.
How to make my Quick & Simple Celebration Scrapbook Layout

First I took a 12×12 sheet of White Willow card stock as the base for my layout. I then sorted through my Celebration Expressions Memories & More card pack and picked out some of the cards to use for my celebration scrapbook layout. I also took out a sheet of Petunia Pop and Lemon Lime Twist Two-Tone card stock.
I cut out 2 of the Memories & More candle cards to make a line at the bottom of my page. Next I chose 2 of the Balloon cards for my photo layer. I then cut 2 strips of Petunia Pop Two-Tone card stock and stuck 1 to the top of the scrapbook layout and 1 along the bottom. Next I added the candles on top of the bottom strip.
I then cut a wide strip of Lemon Lime Twist Two-Tone card stock and stuck it towards the top of my scrapbook layout. Next I added 2 of the balloon cards on top of the Lemon Lime Twist strip.
I decided that I wanted to die cut some banners so I used the smallest banner from the Party Banner dies and cut a banner from some of the small cards. These I added to the bottom of the Lemon Lime Twist strip.
Finally I cut 2 thin strips from one of the Petunia Pop criss-cross cards and added them to the top of the Petunia Pop Two-Tone card stock.
Once I decide which photographs to use I will then be able to add a title and some journaling.
I do hope you have enjoyed seeing how I made my quick and simple Celebration scrapbook layout using just a few of my favourite products in the Annual Catalogue. Why not have a go yourself and of course share what you make on to my Facebook page.
