Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop.

This Month’s Theme is For The Men.

For my Quick and Easy birthday card using scraps I decided to use up the scraps from my previous InColor cards. Although you can use any other colour scraps to make this card. I made this birthday card for my Son-in-Law’s birthday so it is suitable for any male.

How to make my Quick and Easy Birthday Card using Scraps

First I cut a basic card base using Basic white Thick card stock. Next I cut a mat layer using Basic White card stock. I then took my InColor scraps and stuck them onto the Basic White mat layer using Stampin’ Seal. The strips can either be stuck to make a pattern of colours or stuck in different colour orders. This was much easier than trying to use Tombow multipurpose liquid glue which can make it a bit messy.

I then embossed the mat layer using the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. Next I stuck it onto the card base using Tombow multipurpose liquid glue.

How to make the sentiment for my quick and Easy Birthday Card using Scraps

Photo of the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment for my Quick and Easy Birthday Card using Scraps

First I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Very Best Occasions onto Basic White card stock using Pebbled Path ink. Next I die cut it out using the circle die from the Stylish Shaped dies. This ensured that my sentiment was in the middle of the circle. I added the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and to finish it off I added three of the 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing how I made my Quick and Easy Birthday Card using scraps of card stock. Why not have a go at making one yourself and please do share it on my Facebook page.

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
