Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop.

The theme this month is: A Colour Challenge – To Use Green Designer Series Paper On Your Page.

The theme for this month has been decided by the talented Courtenay Heuston.

When I saw this month’s theme I decided to challenge myself to make a Spring Monochromatic Scrapbook Layout using only the Shy Shamrock DSP. After having spent a week in Strasbourg, France and walking around sight seeing I decided to continue taking a walk each day just to spend time taking in my surroundings. I decided to walk around my village and I was surprised to see how green everything looked and how many spring bulbs were in bloom this made me decide to make a very simple Spring monochromatic scrapbook layout.

How to make my Spring Monochromatic Scrapbook Layout.

First I took a piece of Willow White 12″ x 12″ card stock for my background. Next I punched out circles from the Shy Shamrock DSP using the 1 3/4″ circle punch and stuck them around the edge of the Willow White cardstock to make a frame.

I then die cut out my title using the Mini Alphabet Die and the Shy Shamrock DSP. I then stuck the letters in a wavy line. This time I used Multipurpose Glue as I forgot to add some of the Adhesive Sheet to the back of the DSP. Whoops!

I them cut a 6″ x 4″ piece of Shy Shamrock DSP as the mat layer for my journaling. I decided to use two of the 6″ x 4″ Flip Laps to put my photographs in. I stuck these onto the Scrapbook page and added the cut DSP to cover the hinges.

I love how simple this Spring monochromatic scrapbook layout was to make and now I am wondering what it would look like using the other four InColors.

Why not have a go at making your own scrapbook layout using your green papers and please do share them on to my Facebook page.
