Welcome to the April Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. As you can see this month’s theme is masculine which is a bit harder for me to do as my husband does not like his photo being taken.
I managed to get this photo of my husband when the local paper were doing a feature on the Estate Agents he is a director of.
For my layout I do not often have masculine papers or stamp sets so I was limited in what I had in my stash. I found some strips of the Wood Textures designer series paper which were left over from cutting card mounts and cut them into 2 inch strips. I laid these out onto a 12×12 piece of Whisper White card stock and stuck them down to make them look like a wooden floor.
I stuck the photo onto Early Espresso card stock. I cut 2 pieces of Early Espresso card stock and using a piece of Floral Romance Speciality DSP made a mat layer. One I stamped on the title and the other is for some journaling. To finish these off I punched small circles of the Silver foil card and stuck them in each corner to look like fixings.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. Please leave comments as you hop around and see what lovely card layouts the others have done.
