This month’s theme is New Beginnings or Spring

I was struggling with this month’s theme and whilst looking through some photographs I found three from when my husband changed our back garden from grass and flowerbeds to paving and raised flower beds.

I remember taking these photographs just after he had started extending the decking and of course our two dogs just had to give him a paw or two.

First I mounted the photographs onto Basic Black card stock and stuck them onto 12″x12″ Pear Pizzazz card stock.

Next I punched out two dogs from the Dog Builder punch and using the white water colouring pencil but white patches on them to represent my two dogs.

I then made up a kennel using the Happy Tails stamps and Early Espresso on to Crumb Cake card stock.

Next I stamped paw prints onto the bottom right had block before die cutting Daddy’s Little Helpers in Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie card stock and the Hand-Lettered Prose dies.

Then I arranged the letters onto the layout before sticking them down and stamping some more paws and some bones.
