Welcome to this month’s Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop
The theme this month is a Colour Challenge
I am so pleased that this month’s theme is a Colour Challenge using the new 2021-2023 In-Colors. It is that exciting time of the Stampin’ Up! year when the new In-Colors are announced and this year I have decided to make some In-Color Thank You cards using these colours
I started off by cutting four 10.5cm x 14.85cm Basic White card base. Next I cut a 10cm x 14.3cm mat layer using Fresh Fuchsia, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent card stock. I then cut four mat layers using Basic White card stock
Using the Basic White mat layers I stamped the flower image onto each one using Black Tuxedo Momento ink. Next I coloured the image in using Stampin’ Blends. I used Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent to colour in the leaves before using Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya to colour in each flower.
Polished Pink In-Color Thank you Card
Next I cut and wrapped a piece of Polished Pink ribbon around the bottom of the Basic White mat layer before sticking it on top of the Polished Pink mat layer. I then stuck the Polish Pink mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
Fresh Freesia In-Color Thank You Card
For this card I cut and wrapped a piece of Fresh Freesia ribbon around the bottom of the Basic White mat layer before sticking it on top of the Fresh Freesia mat layer. I then stuck the Fresh Freesia mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
Soft Succulent In-Color Thank You Card
I carried on the same of the previous two cards by cutting and wrapping a piece of Soft Succulent ribbon around the bottom of the Basic White mat layer before sticking it on top of the Soft Succulent matte layer. Next I stuck the Soft Succulent mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
Pale Papaya In-Color Thank You Card
Of course for my 4th card I cut and wrapped a piece of Pale Papaya ribbon around the bottom of the Basic White mat layer before sticking it on top of the Pale Papaya mat layer. Next I stuck the Pale Papaya mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
Once I had made the four cards I cut four 7cm 3cm pieces of Evening Evergreen card stock and four 6.5 cm x 2.5cm pieces of Basic White card stock. On the Basic White card stock I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set using Evening Evergreen ink. Once dry I then stuck it onto the Evening Evergreen card stock and stuck one onto each card using Stampin’ Dimensional’s.
Finally to finish off each card I stuck 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels onto each one. Then I decided to make some matching envelopes using the other stamps from the Flowers in Friendship stamp set. I stamped the leaves using Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent ink and stamped each flower to match the colour of the cards.
I hope you have loved seeing how I have used the 2021-2023 In-Color products to make some pretty Thank You cards that I can send out to my friends, family and customers. Why not have a go at using these In-Colours in your next project.
