The theme for this month’s Blog Hop is Sala-a-bration
For this blog hop I decided to use the Simply Marbleous 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper which is FREE when you spend £45.00 from 4th January 2022 until 28th February 2022. The gorgeous paper in this pack has two sides, one swirls and the other a marble effect. When I saw it it reminded me of the various flavours of ice cream you can get. So I decided that I would redo a previous Ice Cream Thank You Card that I did as a swap for the 2021-2023 In Colors in June.
How to make the Ice Cream Thank You Card
I started by cutting a piece of A4 Basic White Thick card stock in half along the long side and scored in half at 10.5cm for my card base. Next I cut a 10cm x 14.3cm piece of Soft Succulent card stock for my mat layer. I then used Soft Succulent ink and Craft White ink to stamp the dotty image all over the mat layer. Then I stuck the mat layer onto the card base and put to one side.
Next I stamped the ice cream cones using Crumb Cake in onto Basic White card stock. I then used Early Espresso ink to stamp the lattice onto the cone before punching out.
Next I punched out three ice cream images using three of the Simply Marbleous papers from the Sale-a-bration leaflet. I then used Early Espresso to stamp onto each punched out ice cream some chocolate sprinkles.
Next I cut a 7cm x 3cm piece of Evening Evergreen card stock and a 6.5cm x 2.5cm piece of Basic White card stock. I then stamped the Thank You sentiment onto the piece of Basic White card stock using Evening Evergreen ink. Once dry I stuck it onto the Evening Evergreen piece of card stock.
How to build the Ice Cream Thank You Card
First I stuck the ice cream cone onto the stamped mat layer so it would be just under the sentiment. Next I built up the three scoops of ice cream one on top of each other. The top scoop of ice cream I stuck using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finally I added the sentiment layers using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added two Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment.
