Today I am going to show you how to make a simple fun fold card.

Each month I take part in a Craft & Chatter session with other Stampin’ Demonstrators in the UK and Ireland and this month’s card was a simple fun fold. We are given the measurements prior to the session but only find out what card we are making as we make it. Sometimes this is called Mystery Stamper.

Here are the measurements for this month’s simple fun fold card.

First I took a Portrait card base made using Pretty Peacock card stock. I then scored the card front in half to make a flap. Next I added both of the mat layers made using Lemon Lime Twist card stock. I then added the piece of designer series paper to one of the Lemon Lime Twist may layers before sticking it to the front flap.

Next I stamped the sentiment from Sending Smiles stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink. I then made a Lemon Lime Twist mat layer and stuck the two together before adding to the card front.

Next I stuck the Basic White may layer onto the remaining Lemon Lime Twist mat layer and stuck the to the inside of the card so that they were behind the front panel.

Finally I added some Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems.
