Welcome to this month’s Ink, Stamp, Share Showcase Blog Hop.

This month I am showing you a fishing tackle box card that I CASED (Copy and Share Everything) from the Annual Catalogue using the Gone Fishing Bundle. I was asked to make a card for a work colleague who had been covering maternity leave for the last year. I knew he was looking forward to going back to his own job and getting more spare time to go fishing.

How to make the Fishing Tackle Box Card

First I die cut out the base of the tackle box using Pecan Pie card stock and the outline of the tackle box using Night of Navy card stock. I then stuck them together and added to a portrait Basic White card base. I then trimmed down the card base to fit the tackle box as the dies are made to fit an American card base.

Next I started to make the various elements to fit inside the tackle box. These I did by stamping onto Basic White card stock using Crumb Cake and Wild Wheat ink. I then stamped the infill stamps using Lost Lagoon, Garden Green and Real Red ink. I then die cut them out and put them to one side. Next I die cut out the weights and hooks using Silver foiled card. Finally I die cut out the flies using a scrap of Night of Navy card stock and a scrap of Balmy Blue card stock.

Now came the fun part of assembling everything. First I laid everything out before sticking them down using either Multipurpose Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals adding in Black Bakers Twine were needed.
