Welcome to this month’s Build & Bloom Stampers Blog Hop.

This month’s theme is: For Kids.

This month I am showing you a couple of Tractor Birthday cards for boys (or girls if they love tractors). This has to be one of my most favourite stamp set and dies that Stampin’ Up! have come up with. To make these cards I have been able to use one of my favourite colouring techniques – blending backgrounds.

Tractor Birthday Cards for Boys – Card 1

Photograph of Tractor Birthday cards for Boys using the Tractor & Co stamp set and dies.

First I cut a landscape card base using Basic White card stock. I then cut a Basic White mat layer and added ink to the whole piece using Blending Brushes and Sponge Daubers.

I then stamped the pumpkins and die cut them out. I then die cut our the tractor parts and stuck them together before adding all of the bits onto the card front using a mixture of adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensions.

A sentiment will be added later to my birthday card for boys once I have decided where the card is going.

Tractor Birthday Cards for Boys – Card 2

For this card I again used a landscape Basic White card base and blended it using ink and Blending Brushes. I then die cut the tractor parts and the pile of hay. I stamped the sentiment onto the pile of hay and added Early Espresso ink to make the tractor muddy. I then stuck the parts together again using adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I love using this stamp set and matching dies to make different birthday cards for boys and changing the colour of the tractors and trailers to match the local tractor suppliers. Which tractor is your favorite? Red or Green?

I do hope you have enjoyed seeing these gorgeous birthday cards for boys. My next one is going to be a blue tractor. Why not have a go at making a birthday card for boys and share your makes onto my Facebook page,

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
