Welcome to this month’s Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop
The Theme this month is my Favourite Bundle
One of my favourite bundles in the annual catalogue is the Dragonfly Garden bundle so I decided to use it to make a slim card. I had never made a slim card before so using the Dragonfly Garden bundle seemed the ideal product to use.
How to make the Dragonfly Garden Slim Card
I started by cutting a 20cm by 21cm piece of Basic White Thick card stock for my card base. Next I folded it into half and scored along the edge.
I then cut a 9.5cm by 20.5cm piece of Balmy Blue card stock for the mat layer and a 9cm x 20cm piece of Basic White card stock to stamp the images on to.
Then using the Basic White mat layer I stamped the large flower image twice using Memento ink. I then coloured in the stamped images using the Watercolouring Pencils and a Blender Pen
Next I stamped the dragonfly image onto a piece of Basic White card stock and coloured it in with the Watercolouring Pencils and the Blender Pen. I then used some Wink of Stella to make the wings shimmer and punched the image out.
To finish off the card I stuck a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave ribbon across the bottom and added a sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set that I had stamped using Memento ink and die cut using the matching die. Before sticking it onto the Balmy Blue mat layer and then the card base.
Thank you for visiting my website today. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing my favourite bundle and how I have used it to make a Dragonfly Garden Slim Card. I want to make another slim card but this time using an orange colour palette. This month’s tutorial when you order from me is the full instructions to make this card.
