For this month’s Ink, Stamp and Share Blog Hop I have decided to show you the Diamond Fold card I made for my dad’s 80th Birthday. During June’s DSP offer I purchased the Bright & Beautiful dsp and to use one of the designs for my card.

How I made my Diamond Fold Card

I found a Diamond Fold card template on one of my emails that my Upline (Pip Todman) sends out each week. I started with a sheet of Misty Moonlight card stock and cut it to size. Next I scored it following the template below and bone folded each edge.

I then added the designer series paper to the bottom panel and a piece to the front diamond panel. Next I die cut a square of Misty Moonlight card stock using the Stylish Shapes dies. I then die cut the number 8 and 0 from the Alphabet A La Mode Dies out of Lemon Lime Twist card stock remembering to add a piece of Adhesive Sheet to the card stock before die cutting.

Next I stamped the ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from the Very Best stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Misty Moonlight ink. I then punched it out using the Double Oval punch and I then punched out the larger oval using Lemon Lime Twist card stock. I stuck the two ovals together and added to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally I added the Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.
