The colour combo we are using this month is: Polished Pink, Poppy Parade and Soft Sea Foam

For my project this month I decided that I would show you how to make some quick and easy cards for any occasion using the three colours from the colour combo. Plus if like me you find that this time of the year you are busy with family, gardening and being out doors you sometimes need some quick and easy cards at short notice.

When I first say this colour combo I immediately thought of flowers but I have enough flowery cards in my stash so I decided to think outside the box whilst trying to keep it simple.

How to make the Colour Combo Occasion Cards

I chose to use the square and rectangle stamps from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set.

I started off by cutting four 13.8cm x 9.5cm Basic White mat layers. Next I stamped the square and rectangle images onto each mat layer using each of the three colours. As you can see I have tried not to make them all look the same.

Once I was happy with my stamped mat layers I then mounted them onto a mat layer cut from Polished Pink, Poppy Parade or Soft Sea Foam. Next I stuck the layers onto a card base which I cut from Basic White Thick card stock.

To finish off the cards I had already used the Many Messages Stamp and matching die to cut out the various sentiments so I chose the most suitable ones that fitted into the large stamped square.
