Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop Title

Welcome to the Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

The theme this month is For the Men

The Tech 4 Stampers are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world, all learning and developing in the world of technology. But our first love is papercrafting, so we have joined forces to bring you some incredible projects to help inspire you on your own crafting journey.

So for this month’s blog hop I thought I would used the Brewed For You stamp set and matching dies to make three male birthday cards for the Beginner Stamper, Casual Stamper and the Avid Stamper. So here are my three Brewed for You Male Birthday Cards.

Brewed For You Male Birthday Card – Beginner Stamper/Simple Stamping

I started with a landscape Basic White Thick card base. Next I cut a 10cm x 14.4cm So Saffron mat layer and stuck this to my card base. I then cut a 9.5cm x 13.9cm piece of Basic White card stock to stamp onto.

Next I stamped the Pint Glasses using Black Memento ink. I then stamped the solid (liquid) stamp onto each glass using So Saffron ink. Next I stamped the ‘Froth’ onto the top of each pint glass using Basic Gray ink.

I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card using Black Memento ink. Finally I used a Water Painter to add some Balmy Blue ink underneath each pint glass before adding this stamped layer onto the So Saffron mat layer.

Next I stamped the Pint Glasses using Black Memento ink. I then used the Water Colouring Pencils and a Blender Pen to colour in each glass. Next I stamped the ‘Froth’ onto the top of each pint glass using Basic Gray ink and coloured it in using the White and the Basic Gray Water Colouring Pencils. I then Used the Balmy Blue Light Blend to add a shadow under each glass though I should have used the Balmy Blue Water Colouring Pencil.

Next I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink and stuck it onto a piece of So Saffron card stock. I then added the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I started with a landscape Basic White Thick card base. Next I cut a 10cm x 14.4cm So Saffron mat layer and stuck this to my card base. I then cut a 9.5cm x 13.9cm piece of Basic White card stock for my top mat layer and blended some Balmy Blue ink Blending Brush to make a background.

I stamped the pint glass images onto scraps of Basic White and coloured them in using the So Saffron Light and Dark Blends and the Smoky Slate Light and Dark Blends. Next I die cut out the ‘foam’ using Basic White card stock. I then added the pint glasses onto the Basic White mat layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next I stuck the ‘Foam’ onto the top of the pint glasses using the Multi Purpose Glue as I will be adding the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on them. I added the Snowfall Accents Puff Paint on top of the die cut foam and heated it using the Heat Tool. Do this gently so you do not burn the Puff Paint.

Next I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink and cut one end into a flag before sticking it onto a piece of So Saffron card stock. I then cut the So Saffron piece into a flag and added the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I do hope that you have enjoyed seeing my three Brewed For You Male Birthday Cards for the different levels of Stampers. Why not have a go at making one of these yourself and share your finished card on my Facebook page.

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
