Beautiful Currently Loving Scrapbook Layout

Welcome to this month’s Build & Bloom Stampers Blog Hop.

This month’s theme is: Love & Friendship.

For my project this month I decided to use one of the Currently Loving scrapbook layouts. This layout is part of 3 double page scrapbook layouts where everything is provided for you in a kit. All you need are your basic tools – paper trimmer, scissors and adhesives to make these layouts. (Though you can add extra bits and pieces). Plus it comes with full instructions which you can follow it you want.

As I have been scrapbooking/memory keeping for nearly 18 years I do tend to want to do my own thing but I did try very hard to follow the instructions as much as possible. 😄🦋

How I made the Currently Loving Scrapbook Layouts – Project 1

First I cut out all of the bits I needed for Currently Loving Scrapbook Layout Project 1. This included which papers to cut and which way round, what die cuts I needed, which 2 sheets to use for the base layer and of course which stickers to use.

Then by following the instructions I made up the double page layouts for Project 1. As I was doing this as part of my weekly YouTube Live you can see that I did make mistakes, got glue in the wrong place and other errors. Plus of course I did end up changing it towards the end. 😄🦋

This Currently Loving scrapbook double page layout took me around 1 hour to make up following the instructions. All I now need to add are my photographs and add some journaling to each page.

I love using the Scrapbook Workshop Kits as like all of the other Stampin’ Up! kits everything is included apart from your basic tools. I will probably make up the remaining 2 projects in the Currently Loving scrapbook kit as alternative layouts and to make some cards with the left over pieces.
