Welcome to this month’s Stampin Friends Blog Hop.
For this blog hop we have been tasked to make a card and a project as this month’s theme is Easter and Pastels, I have chosen to use the Fable Friends Stamp set and Gingham Gala DSP.
Easter for me is the colour yellow with easter eggs, bunnies and chicks. For my card I decided to use the Daffodil Delight gingham gala papers with Daffodil Delight card stock and the Duck image from Fable Friends.
Here is the card I came up with.
I coloured in the image using water colouring pencils and a blender pen. Then I stamped on the grass using Granny Green Apple ink and finished off the card by stamping the sentiment and more grass. I love how this card pops with spring and easter colours.
For my project I chose to make 3 stamped images and a 3 picture peg frame from Aldi for under £2.
Again I coloured these in using the water colouring pencils and a blender pen.
This Duck reminds me of a character from a child’s book.
When I first saw this image it reminded me of Peter Rabbit from the Beatrix Potter books.
Finally this lovely squirrel finishes off the stamped images. Of course I had give him a slightly red tail and used Melon Mambo for the flower.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope my projects have given you some ideas. Please do leave comments when you hop around this blog hop.
Happy Stampin’ n crafting
