Stylish Monochromatic Card

Welcome to this month’s blog hop with the Stamp Impressions Europe Group and I am showing you another Simply Stylish Monochromatic Card.

This month we are all sharing projects using 3 of the elements for a Tic Tac Toe theme. I have chosen the middle row: Designer Series Paper, Stamped Image and a Matching Envelope to make a stylish monochromatic card.

I chose to use Barely Blush as my one colour which is one of the NEW 2026-2028 In Colors. The Designer Series Paper I chose to use comes from the Artisan Sketched Garden DSP as it contains black and white papers.

How I made my Stylish Monochromatic Card

First I cut a portrait card base using Barely Blush card stock. Next I cut a Basic Black card mat layer and stuck it to the card front. I then cut 2 strips of Designer Series Paper and stuck them onto each side of the card front and stuck a Barely Blush mat layer at an angle in the middle between the 2 strips of Designer Series Paper.

Next I cut a Basic White card mat layer and stamped the All Aflutter butterfly outline stamp using the Basic Black Hybrid ink pad. I then stamped the infill butterfly stamp using Barely Blush ink. Next I stamped the ‘fluttering by to say hi’ sentiment again using the Basic Black Hybrid ink before sticking it to the card front again at an angle.

Finally I stamped some more butterflies using the butterfly outline stamp using the Basic Black Hybrid ink pad again. I then stamped the infill butterfly stamp again using Barely Blush ink before sticking the mat layer to the inside of the card.

How I stamped the envelope for my Stylish Monochromatic Card

Using a white envelope I again stamped the butterfly outline stamp using the Basic Black Hybrid ink pad. I then stamped the infill butterfly stamp again using Barely Blush ink.
