Welcome to my very first blog hop with the Stamp Impressions Europe Group and I am showing you my Simply Stylish Monochromatic Card.

This month we are all sharing projects using some of the products in the May – August 2026 catalogue.

This catalogue has loads and loads of lovely stamp sets, dies and Designer Series Paper so for my project I decided to use the Fern & Flora stamp set and dies. As I had already die cut out one of the fern leaves using Mossy Meadow card stock I decided to use this as my inspiration for my card.

How I made my Simply Stylish Monochromatic Card

Photograph of my Simply Stylish Monochromatic Card

This card is really easy to make. First I cut a portrait card base using Mossy Meadow card stock. Next I cut a Basic Black mat layer. Finally I cut a Basic White mat layer to stamp onto.

Using the Mossy Meadow ink and the line stamp, I stamped the image in opposite corners of the Basic White mat layer. Next I laid the die cut leaf onto my card front so that I could see where to stamp the butterflies.

I stamped them using Black Memento ink and coloured them in using both the Mossy Meadow Light and Dark Blends leaving some white space in them. I then stuck the Basic Black mat layer onto the Mossy Meadow card base before sticking on the stamped mat layer.

How I made my sentiment and embellishments for my Simply Stylish Monochromatic Card

First I cut a strip of Basic Black card stock for the sentiment mat layer. Next cut a smaller strip of Basic white card stock and stamped the sentiment ‘Sending my love’ from the Banner Sayings stamp set onto it using Mossy Meadow ink. I stuck the die cut fern leaf onto the card front before sticking the stamped strip onto the Basic Black strip and added it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally using the Mossy Meadow Dark Blend I coloured in 5 Rhinestone Basic Gems and added them to the card.

I do hope that you have enjoyed seeing how I have made my Simply Stylish Monochromatic card and how easy it is too. I hope this gives you some inspiration to have a go yourself and of course I would love to see what you make so here is the link to my Facebook page.
