Welcome to this month’s Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop.
This month’s theme is: Masculine Cards.

For this blog I have decided to make some simple Masculine cards using my card stock strips. As some of you know I keep a Tigger Mug on my craft desk where I put all of my card stock strips in. This month I found out that I could not put anymore card stock strips into it so I decided to use up some of them to make a selection of Masculine cards.
How to make Simple Masculine Cards using Card Stock Strips – Card 1

First I cut a landscape Basic White card stock card base. Next I cut a Basic White mat layer. Using different coloured card stock strips from my scraps I glued each strip horizontally onto the Basic White may layer. Next I trimmed off any overlapping ends before adhering the covered mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
I then stamp the ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ sentiment from the Layered Thoughts stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink. Finally I adhered the sentiment layer onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
How to make Simple Masculine Cards using Card Stock Strips – Card 2

As before I cut a portrait Basic White card stock card base. Next I cut a Basic Black mat layer. Using different coloured card stock strips from my scraps, 1 again glued each strip horizontally onto the Basic Black may layer spacing out the card stock strips so that you can see the Basic Black mat layer between each strip. I again trimmed off any overlapping ends before adhering the mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
Again I stamped the ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ sentiment from the Layered Thoughts stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink. I then adhered the sentiment layer onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
How to make Simple Masculine Cards using Card Stock Strips – Card 3

For this card I cut a landscape Basic White card stock card base. Next I cut a Basic White mat layer. Using different coloured card stock strips from my scraps I glued each strip diagonally onto the Basic White may layer. I then trimmed off any overlapping ends before adhering the covered mat layer onto the Basic White card base.
Next I stamped the ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ sentiment from the Layered Thoughts stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink. Finally I stuck the sentiment layer onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
How to make Simple Masculine Cards using Card Stock Strips – Card 4

Again I cut a landscape Basic White card stock card base. Next I cut a Basic Black mat layer. Using different coloured card stock strips from my scraps glue each strip vertically onto the Basic Black may layer spacing out the card stock strips so that you can see the Basic Black mat layer between each strip. Trim off any overlapping ends before adhering to the Basic White card base.
As before I stamped the ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ sentiment from the Layered Thoughts stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink. Finally I adhered the sentiment layer onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
How to make Simple Masculine Cards using Card Stock Strips – Card 5

As before I cut a Basic White card stock card base. Next I cut a Basic Black mat layer. Using different coloured card stock strips from my scraps glue each strip diagonally onto the Basic Black may layer spacing out the card stock strips so that you can see the Basic Black mat layer between each strip. I then trimmed off any overlapping ends before adhering to the Basic White card base.
This time I stamped the ‘THINKING of you’ sentiment from the Layered Thoughts stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink. Adhere the sentiment layer onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
