A Simple Spring Time Scrapbook Layout to record your Spring Flower Photographs.
For my simple Spring Time scrapbook layout I decided to use a couple of my favourite Stampin’ Up! products. The Mixed Florals stamp set and matching dies and the Meant To Bee dies. I love how the Meant To Bee dies can be placed next to each other to make a hexagon pattern which is ideal for adding your photographs and journaling to.
How I made my simple Spring Time scrapbook layout.

First I started with a piece of 12″ x 12″ Basic Black card stock. Next I die cut out the hexagon shaped using the Meant To Bee dies. Each die cuts out a full hexagon and a slightly bigger frame.
I then stamped the large floral design from the Mixed Florals stamp set onto Basic White card stock using Black Memento ink. Using Stampin’ Blends I coloured in the stamped image. I used Peach Pie for the Tulips and Balmy Blue for the Forget-Me-Not flowers. I then coloured in the leaved using Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.
Next I die cut out some leaves using Granny Apple Green card stock using the Mixed Floral dies. I also die cut out the coloured image again using the Mixed Floral dies.
I then laid everything out onto my 12″ x 12″ Basic Black page and thought that the stamped flowers needed something else so I stamped the small flower image onto Basic White card stock again using Black Memento ink. I then coloured the flowers in again using Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends.
Once I was happy with my layout I then stuck every thing down first starting with the hexagonal frames. Then I stuck down the leaves and flowers in the bottom right-hand corner.
How I made the title for my simple Spring Time scrapbook layout.

For my title I decided to use Granny Apple Green card stock and die cut out the letters ‘SPRING TIME’ using the Mini Alphabet dies. Then using one of the Basic White hexagons left over from using the frames I arranged the letters onto it before sticking it to the top of the page.
Finally I stamped some Lady Birds around the title. I did think they were butterflies before I stamped them and realised that they were Lady Birds.
I do hope that you have enjoyed seeing how I made my simple Spring Time scrapbook layout. I have decided that I want to make three more scrapbook layouts like this for each season.
