Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to this month’s Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop.

This Month’s Theme is: Favourite Tool(s).

As some of you know I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator because the products coordinate so well. I thought I would show you the various ways to colour in a stamped image using the same colours but different colouring products.

First I started by cutting some Basic White card stock mat layers and stamped the flower and leaf images from the Happiness Abounds stamp set. I then decided on to use the following colours to colour in each image:

  • Granny Apple Green
  • Garden Green
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Melon Mambo
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Basic Black

1. Various Ways to Colour – Watercolour Pencils and Water Painters

To colour in this image I first coloured it in with watercolour pencils and then blended each area with a Water Painter. I love this subtle colouring in.

2. Various Ways to Colour – Watercolour Pencils and Blender Pen

Next I coloured the image in again using the watercolour pencils but this time I blended each area using a Blender Pen. I love how the Blender Pen keeps the colouring in vibrant.

3. Various Ways to Colour – Ink Pad and Water Painter

This time I coloured in the stamped image using the ink pad and a Water Painter. I stamped a blank block onto the pad to lift the colour onto it and then used the Water Painter to take the ink off it and onto the stamped image.

4. Various Ways to Colour – Ink Pad and Blender Pen

I then did the same with the ink pad but this time I used a Blender Pen to take the ink off of the block and colour in the stamped image.

5. Various Ways to Colour – Stampin’ Write Markers

Then I used the Stampin’ Write Markers to colour in the stamped image. I love how easy it is to colour the image in and that you have a brush end and a bullet point end.

6. Various Ways to Colour – Stampin’ Blends

Finally I used the Stampin’ Blend Combos to colour in the stamped image. I love how easy it is to blend the colours together. The image stays vibrant.

Thank you for visiting my website today. I have loved showing you the various ways that you can use Stampin’ Up! products to colour in a stamped image.
