Welcome to this month’s Tech 4 Stampers Academy Blog Hop.
The theme this month is Something Square.
When I saw the theme for this month theme was Something Square I decided that I wanted to make a scrapbook layout. It is my son’s wedding in under 2 weeks so I am trying to prepare layouts ready to add photographs as soon as they are printed. Unfortunately for me the colour theme for the wedding is a secret so I decided to make black and white layouts and then add colour to match the photos.
How I made my Something Square Scrapbook Layout
First I started with a sheet of Basic White 12×12 card stock. Then using a pencil I marked 1 inch from each corner with a dot. Next I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Marker to drawer lines along each edge from dot to dot. I was not worried if it was straight as it is meant to be a doodle line. Next I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to each corner to cover the pencil dot.
I then cut 1.5inch squares using the Perfectly Pencilled Designer Series Papers. Next I cut a 1.5inch square of grey board. I then used this as a template to place the DSP squares onto the scrapbook layout.
As I thought the corners looked a bit plain and as I wanted something that I could add colour to if needed. So I decided to fussy cut out the flowers from the Perfectly Pencilled DSP.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing how simple it is to create a Something Square Scrapbook layout using just designer series paper. Why not have a go yourself and share what you make on my Facebook page.
Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
