Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamptastic Friends Blog Hop

The theme this month is Animals

For my project today I decided to use the Easter Friends stamp set to make a Happy Easter Bunny Card.

How to make the Happy Easter Bunny Card

Photo of finished Happy Easter Bunny Card

I started by making a 10.5cm x 14.85cm portrait card base using Basic White card stock. Next I cut a 9cm x 13.8cm piece of Basic White for the card front. I then stamped the bunny image using Crumb Cake ink. Next I coloured the bunny in using SU400 from the Medium Deep Combo Blends and SU 500 from the Medium Combo Blends. I added in the eye, mouth and nose using an Early Espresso Marker. As you can see by stamping the image in Crumb Cake the image does not have a hard outline.

Next I stamped the grass using the grass image and Old Olive ink. I did it a few times so it looked like proper grass rather than just a line of grass.

Next I cut a 10cm x 14.3cm mat layer using Old Olive card stock which I stuck to the card base. I then stuck the card front onto the mat layer.

How to make the sentiment and finish off the card.

For the sentiment I cut a strip of Basic White card stock and stamped the Happy Easter sentiment onto it using Old Olive ink. I then cut a mat layer out of Old Olive card stock. I stuck the sentiment onto the mat layer and added it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

As I had a bit of white space under the sentiment and I love butterflies I added a butterfly using the butterfly image from Happy Hedgehogs and Crumb Cake ink.

I hope that you have enjoyed my Happy Easter Bunny Card. I love how the bunny looks using Crumb Cake ink to stamp the image.

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
