Welcome to the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop

The theme this month is anything from the Mini Catalogue

For this month’s blog hop I thought as I have a lot of special occasions coming up and of course Christmas I would start making some Gift or Voucher Cards using some of the products from the Stocking Suite. I fell in love with this suite as at the time I had two dogs and a cat so could tailor make cards for my family. Unfortunately my cat had to be put to sleep this week so they will probably just have the two dogs.

How to make the Stocking Gift or Voucher Card

I started off by cutting a piece of A4 Cherry Cobble card stock in half to make two card bases 10.5cm wide. Next I cut a 10cm x 14.3cm piece of the Sweet Stocking DSP and stuck onto the card base.

I then used the tag die in the Stocking Dies and Old Olive card stock to .die cut a tag. Next I die cut the stocking stocking top, heel and foot out of Pool Party and Bumble Bee card stock.

I then put together all the die cuts to make completed stockings and put them to one side. Next I stamped the Christmas Greetings sentiment onto Basic White card stock using Cherry Cobble ink. Which I then stuck it on to a strip of Cherry Cobble card stock before sticking onto the card base.

Next I stuck the completed stockings onto the Old Olive tag. I then punched a hole in the pointed end and added Linen Thread so look like a tag, Once this was done I stuck the tag onto the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off the card I added some Metallic Pearls to the sentiment and stuck a strip of Tear and Tape Adhesive so that I could stick the gift card or voucher to the inside.

I hope that you have enjoyed seeing my Stocking gift or voucher card and I hope that I have given you some inspiration to have a go yourself.

Until next time, keep stampin n crafting,
