Welcome to this month’s Colour Combo Blog Hop. This month’s colours are Merry Merlot, Pineapple Punch and Pool Party.

I wanted to use the Honey Bee stamp set from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalogue for this month’s card.

I started by stamping the bee hive in Merry Merlot ink and placed a mask over the stamped image so that I could sponge the background with Pool Party and Pineapple Punch.

Then I stamped the smaller bee onto Whisper White and coloured in the striped using an aqua painter and Pineapple Punch.

I stamped Thank You along a strip of Whisper White card stock and stuck it to the front of the card. Finally I mounted the front of the card onto Pool Party and Merry Merlot mat layers before sticking onto a Whisper White card stock.
