Welcome to a New Year, New Decade and a New Blog Hop. Stamptastic Friends are a group of Stampin’ Up! demos who met when attending courses organised by fellow Stampin’ Up! demos Louise Sims and Pip Todman.

Our theme for this month is Sale-a-bration, which is where you can get free product every time you spend £45 on products until 31st March 2020.

For my project I have chosen the hostess stamp set called Little Ladybug which is at the back of the Sale-a-bration. I have teamed it up with the Peaceful Poppies Suite and Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon.

I started by stamping the poppy outline stamp along the bottom of a Whisper White mat layer. Then I stamped one of the Little Ladybug stamps into Whisper White card stock and coloured it in before die cutting it out using the stitched circle dies.

Then I stamped the poppies using Real Red ink pad but I stamped the stamp off once to get a lighter shade.

Next I die cut the swirly die out of Real Red card stock and stuck the ladybug into it before attaching it to the card.

I then coloured in the Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon using the Real Read Dark Blends and stuck it to the bottom of the card. Next I made a bow and attached it to the ribbon using a glue dot.

To finish off the card I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto Whisper White card stock. This I die cut out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and mounted it onto a rectangle of Real Red card stock before attaching it to the top of the card.
