This month’s theme is Any Thing Goes

I decided to use the Magnolia Suite for my projects.

Small Box

I started by making a box in 12×12 Whisper White card stock. Next I cut out 5 6,8cm squares from Petal Pink card stock and 4 6cm squares from a sheet of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. I stuck the DSP onto the card stock squares which were then stuck onto the sides of the box.

For the top I stamped the smaller magnolia flower onto Whisper White card stock and coloured in using Ivory blender pen and Petal Pink ink using an aqua painter. I then stamped a leaf in Mossy Meadow and coloured it in using the Mossy Meadow Light blender pen. This I stuck to the remaining Petal Pink square and stuck it to the top of the box.

Matching card

For the matching card I repeated the box topper. Then I stamped the leaf stamp along the sides of a piece of Petal Pink card stock and stuck a piece of the DSP down the middle of the Petal Pink card. The topper I had made was then stuck onto the card. To make it slightly different this was stuck at an angle to make a diamond shape.

To finish off the card the Thanks sentiment was stamped using Early Espresso onto Whisper White card stock. This I stuck to Petal Pink card stock and fixed to the bottom of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then stuck the card topper onto a Whisper White card base.

One of my favorite sets in the catalog so far. I love the soft colors you used and the box would be perfect for a small gift for any occasion. Thank you for sharing.
