Welcome to the Friends of SUBA Blog Hop
Welcome to the Friends of SUBA August blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator friends that have met through attending fantastic Simply Unique Business Angels courses, run by Louise Sims and Pip Todman, to help with the technology side of our business. They are highly recommended by all of us. You can find out more here.
Whether you have just join our blog hop or hopped over from Carrie I hope you enjoy our projects.
Our theme this month is Christmas.
I am one of those people who love Christmas especially the run up when you are making cards and gifts for those you love to filling stockings and wrapping up presents.
For this blog hop I decided that I would make a boxed frame using some of the products from the wonderful Santa Workshop Suite. I decided to use the following products: the stamp set, dies and Memory and More card pack.
I stamped the stamps using memento ink and then water coloured them in using our water colour pencils. These were then die cut and Wink of Stella was added to add a shimmer.
Next I used some of the stickers in the Memory and More pack to add embellishments and cut one of the Merry Christmas cards for the middle square.
I then stuck these to Real Red and Garden Green squares which were cut using the Stitched Shaped Framelits.
I wanted a simple coloured background to fix the squares to, so chose one of the papers from the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Papers.
Finally to finish it off I made a bow using Real Red ribbon.
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Please do leave comments as you hop around.
