Our theme this month is a Colour Challenge and for a change we could choose our own three colours.

As everyone knows my favourite all time Stampin’ Up! colour is Melon Mambo but as I had just bought the Last a Lifetime bundle and my daughter is getting married, I thought I would try out a couple of different colour ways.

I had already made a suitable card using an old stamp set Floral Phrases, Blushing Bride and Grey Granite. So why not change the stamp set and different colours.

The colour I chose for my first card was Night of Navy to make the card base.

Next I cut two mat layers out of Bermuda Bay and first embossed them with the Subtle 3D embossing folder. Then I die cut using the larger flower die from the Lasting Elegance dies.

These two pieces I stuck to the card base using Tombow glue.

I then cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the larger flower stamp using Bermuda Bay ink pad.

For my second card I reversed the colours around.

Now I want to try them with Whisper White card bases and a piece of Whisper White or coloured card stock behind the die cut flowers.
