Welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop June Blog Hop.

The theme this month is Hello to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.

I love this month as it is the month that Stampin’ Up! release their new Annual Catalogue and it is packed with lovely stamp sets, punches, suites and of course the NEW 5 In Colors for 2020.

For my project this month I thought I would do a scrapbook layout using some of the new designer series papers from the catalogue.

A few years ago my husband and I went on holiday to Cornwall and treated ourselves to a meal at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant called Fifteen at Watergate Bay near New Quay.

Whilst we were waiting to go in we watched the sun set over the sea and I was lucky enough to take this amazing photograph.

I had recently received my order from the new catalogue where I had ordered the Whale Done stamp set together with the matching punch and designer series paper.

Initially I wanted the layout to look as if the photo was on a notice board or door so I picked out one of the In Good Taste designer series papers as my background.

Onto this paper I laid out two of the Whale of a Time designer series papers and laid the photo on top of them.

Next I stamped the jar from Jar of Flowers using Gray Granite ink pad and punched it out using the Jar punch.

I then stamped some fish onto the jar before using the Pacific Point watercolour pencil and the Wink of Stella pen to give a sparkly water effect.

Next I punched out the whales from another one of the Whale of a Time DSP using the Whale punch. I just love how Stampin’ Up! uses punches and dies to cut our their DSP.

Once I had decided where to put the Whales I stamped bubbles coming out of the whale’s mouth. I also stamped some more fish using the NEW Bumblebee Ink Pad.

Then I punched out some sentiments using the Classic Label punch and the Label Me Pretty punch.

To finish off I tied some lined thread to the jar as we used to do this as children.

I hope you have enjoyed see how I have used some of the new products.
