Welcome to a New Year, a New Decade and the First Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop of 2020.

Whether you have joined me from Rochelle’s blog hop link or are starting the blog hop with me. I know you will love all our lovely projects from the Occasion Catalogue or our Sale-a-bration leaflet.

For my projects I chose to use the Under My Umbrella stamp set and matching punch. I love bundles like this as you do not need a large area to craft or store them. This means you can take them out and about with you if you want to do crafting on holiday or just popping to your local coffee shop for some me time.

I decided to make a couple of quick and simple cards as I know finding crafting time can be hard.

Card Number 1

For my first card I chose a Gray Granite card stock mount for the background. Using a piece of Whisper White card stock and Gray Granite ink pad I stamped the rain dots. Living in England our rain does tend to go sideways rather that straight down.

Next I stamped the handle of the umbrella using Black memento ink pad and stamped the sentiment in Gray Granite ink.

Then I punched out the large umbrella using a scrap of Country Club designer series paper. After drawing black lines to outline the umbrella and umbrella sections I used Stampin Dimensionals to fix it to the card.

Card Number 2

For my second card I decided to do another card but this time I coloured in the umbrella before punching out and punched out the handle using Basic Black card stock.
