Kre8tors Blog Hop Title

Welcome to this month’s Kre8tors Blog Hop

The Theme this month is a Tropical Nights Colour Challenge using the photo below

I decided to make a set of cards using the stamp set Whale Done and to produce 3 cards for a Beginner Stamper, a Casual Stamper and an Avid Stamper.

First I found some 13.5cm square cards and envelopes, then I cut 3 13cm squares of Rococco Rose card stock to make a may layer.

Next I cut 3 12cm squares of Whisper White card stock to stamp onto.

Beginner Stamper Card

I started by stamping the sea weed in Basic Gray. First I stamped it straight onto the card and then I stamped off on scrap paper and then stamped onto the card.

This allows me to have a variation in the shade of Basic Gray. I also did the same with the smaller sea weed stamp and stamped onto the first sea weed to make extra pieces.

Next I stamped the coral using Rococco Rose Ink and again stamped straight onto the card and then stamped off onto scrap paper before stamping onto the card.

I then stamped 2 shoals of fish onto the top part of the card using So Saffron ink, followed by the whale using Night of Navy ink.

To finish off the card I stamped bubbles coming from the mouth of the whale in Basic Gray and the sentiment using Black Memento.

Casual Stamper Card

For my Casual Stamper Card I repeated the seaweed, coral and fish the same as the Beginner Stamper Card but this time I stamped the Whale onto a separate piece of Whisper White card stock using Night of Navy ink. I then punched it out using the Whale punch before fixing to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then stamped the sentiment onto another piece of Whisper White card stock and sponged Rococco Rose ink along the edges before fixing to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Avid Stamper Card

For my Avid Stamper Card I again repeated the seaweed and the fishes as per my previous cards but this time I stamped the coral 5 times onto Whisper White card stock using Rococco Rose ink and fussy cut them out before fixing to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The whale I did as before and fixed that to the card.

Finally to finish off the card I stamped so fishes above the sentiment before mounting onto Rococco Rose card stock and fixing again onto the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope seeing my cards have given you some ideas to have a go yourself.
