Welcome to the May Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Goodbye.
May is an exciting time in the Stampin’ Up! diary as we are eagerly waiting for the NEW Annual catalogue to go live to our customers. BUT it is also a sad time as we say goodbye to our favourite designer series paper, stamp sets and dies.
For my Goodbye scrapbook layout I have decided to use the Twinkle Twinkle DSP and the Baby Bear stamp set. These I have used to make a scrapbook page of my grand-daughter when we met here when she was only 2 days old.
I used the star side of the DSP as it matched my grand daughter’s baby-grow. As the photos have a dark background I mounted the photos onto Grey Granite and Night of Navy card stock. I stamped the sentiments using Night of Navy ink onto the Grey Granite card scraps. These were stuck to Night of Navy card stock and stuck to the page using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the baby bear I used the following ink pads, Powder Pink, Petal Pink and Blushing Bride. Using the stamparatus I was able to ensure the 3 layers matched perfectly as I have always struggled to stamp the bear using blocks.
I hope you have liked my scrapbook page. Please do leave comments as you hop around. Please click on the NEXT button to see what Scrapbook products Rebecca is saying Goodbye to.
Nice dsp choice!
