Welcome to my FIRST BLOG HOP of 2019 which is the Colour Combo Blog Hop.

For the Colour Combo blog hop we are given three colours to use for our project.  This month we have been given the colours: Cajan Craze, Gorgeous Grape and Costal Cabana.  If there is one colour I tend not to use it is Cajan Craze, so I have tried to use it for this blog hop.

For this month’s Blog Hop I decided to use the Lasting Lily stamp set which is one of our FREE Sale-a-bration stamp sets which you can choose if you spend £90 on product.  I love that this is a disinktive stamp set which means that the stamp looks flat but it has very fine detail to give a 3D image.

Unfortunately we can guarantee that at some point, some one you know will pass away, leaving loved ones behind.  This stamp set is ideal for just those occasions.

I decided that the Gorgeous Grape and Costal Cabana were a bit too bright for a sympathy card to I stamped the images off onto paper first before stamping the image onto the Whisper White card. I then smudged some Gorgeous Grape ink along the edges of the card base.

As I had to use Cajun Craze I decided to mount the stamped card onto Cajun Craze card Stock and stamped the sentiment in the same colour ink.  I edged the card stock with Cajun Craze ink. The sentiment was then mounted onto basic black card stock and stuck to the card using stampin dimensionals.

To finish off the card (and the fact that I love butterflies) I stamped a couple of butterflies from the Beauty Abounds stamp set using Black memento ink.

I hope you like my ‘Simple Stamping’ sympathy card.
